disappointed in the disposable

This would have been an updated Rome post, however, once again the boots disposable fucked me over and only 10 or so of my pictures came out. i got my money back, and some free reprints, but i really need to learn my lesson this time. so this post is just a random collection of some of the pictures from my recent move to London, including a sexy pic of doig on chelsea bridge, bar the one of my sister and i, taken in southend, and the portrait shot of the forest.

after a recent bout of serious inspiration though, expect a lot more to come soon, and you can always follow me on instagram for more regular pix too.

DAM DAM DAM

These are photos from January 2015, so you can see how long it takes me to do anything. Another mixture of a Boots disposable and my SLR. Boots fucked up again with these negatives and initially cut the film in all the wrong places, so half my prints were two halves of different photos. Although, it was how I was able to make the final image.
Amsterdam is a pretty cold place in January, even though the hot chocolate helped. I'm considering a revisit in Spring when it's prime tulip season and then I'll have more to show for my trip than a collection of photos you can count on two hands. Also, need to go back to the sex museum there and horrify the women who process my photos at Boots as payback.

PARIS!

Went to Paris at the end of January to see some of the greatest people on Earth: Charlie and Lucy. My 35mm SLR held up and got the sweet shots, however, the boots disposable, that I brought for 'fun' and shooting with a flash, ended up producing just 13 pictures, the rest of the negatives were just totally blank. Would not recommend these cameras as this has happened a bunch of times now.
But yeah, Paris is dope as hell, many dollars were dropped on coffees, cocktails and choux pastry, and Lucy got real drunk one night and attacked people in the nightclub, after we danced with, and on sofas, with the club owner. Also this was the weekend I discovered 'The Room' and the great mystery that is Tommy Wiseau.
