as opposed to all the 'bad juju' they experience in ratatouille, i experienced some great juju at juju's bar & stage in shoreditch for my friend katy's impromptu exhibition. experimenting with various media, textiles and lots of random junk, the exhibition was small but incredibly varied with some canvas, sculpture and a jacket (previously worn by nick for our fashion shoot). all photos were taken (one bottle of wine down) on my olympus af-10, so enjoy the point and shoot magic of my drunken hands and mind.

rooftop, raindrop
trying to keep a more regular pace of posts and uploading a mix of pictures from my Olympus and Canon T50. these are mainly pictures that have occurred either side of events or projects i've been doing recently.
One project being an article i've written for the 2nd issue of DOIN' BITS magazine, so have been busy hanging around the fuel pump in shoreditch (where the photo of the string of lightbulbs was taken) for that. the rooftop picture is the last one i took in Clapham before we left (that hell hole), closely followed by my view every morning circa 7am and the first bunch of flowers I bought for our new flat in tooting.
other pictures have been plucked from nights out, and, in the case of buds and stan at the end, from sick nights in too. also there are other fun photos that alycia won't let me upload. LAAAAMMMEEEEE.
UPDATE: I UPLOADED IT ANYWAY!

late to the party
After having lived without wifi for what feels like an eternity, I have just realised I can hotspot off Alyica and need struggle no longer. I'm bummed i didn't get to post these in January (even now I'm scraping the last of Feb), however I was sort of dealing with an ongoing living-nightmare that was my living-sitch in Clapham. Now safely from the clutches of several greedy Italians, I write this post from the safe haven of Tooting.
So this is a collection of photos from the end of 2016. A bit of Jesus in Chelsea, a bio-hazard bin from when I was hospitalised with tonsillitis, Katy at the Bluebird (and spoons), Aaron fucking up my photography in Tooting, Lewis slipping (ever photogenic), and the beautiful Emma and Karys at New Years in Stratford. All taken on my Olympus AF-10. The last one of Karys I have left there intentionally as a teaser of things to come, as she will be the subject in my first medium format photography project (thanks Father Christmas – and Karys). As always, check my insta for up-to-date photos of the things we get up to.

doin' it in dalston
These are from a shoot I did in dalston a few weeks back for my friend Katy. All clothes seen on the lovely model, Nick, were made and styled by Katy. Taken on either my Canon T50 and Lewis' Canon. We got a few stares as we stood in the alleyway behind a kebabie (and almost got run over by about 40 bloody scooters haha), as well as a young girl piggybacking on the shoot and getting a few in on her iphone. got another upload to come from the digital ones i got as well, but until then enjoy the cut glass cheekbones and lavish layering of coat on coat.

hotbox creatives pop up, hoxton arches, 12//11/16
charlie – literally under the hoxton arches
This is a compilation of images of all the random shit we been doing since we – we being Doig and myself – moved to london about 7 weeks ago. Images were taken on either my Olympus AF-10, Canon T50 or Canon EON 500 N. I have to admit I hate looking like a top tourist with my camera all the time, but after getting the point and shoot developed and seeing snaps I had forgotten I'd even taken, i.e. the one of Aleeeeesha and Doig in the hospital, it's made me realise who cares when we got the memories now.
Highlights include: watching sk8r bois at bay66, the Isokon building, such a sick place with an interesting history (one of the first pieces of modern architecture built in London in the 30s), spending most of my nights in battersea park loping along the thames and going to the hotbox creatives event where i got to see Rosie Matheson's boys collection and met her and so many other great people. Never get tired of looking at boys.
Also since moving to London, Alycia has been the best person I've met and she fills my life with absolute joy every bloody day, she is the highlight of my life right now and my Asia Pacific Princess!
Next post will be a fashion shoot I did last weekend in Dalston, on both digital and 35mm.
